Our mission is to provide the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach toward diagnosis and management of illness.

We are committed to promoting health, well-being and disease prevention to all patients and do not discriminate in the provision of excellent care and aim to treat all patients with dignity and respect.

The ability to respond to the rapidly changing healthcare needs of society is the key to Diagnom’s growth. We will manage this growth through the expansion of existing services, prudent acquisitions and development of new products and services.

Access to our practice facilities and services is of importance to our patients and as a result our GP and staff consider the ways in which they can help facilitate reasonable access.

When considering what is ‘reasonable’, our practice reviews the needs of patients with a disability. For example, providing wheelchair access for disabled patients to reception, waiting areas, consultation and examination areas and toilets. Patients with a disability are also able to park their vehicles adjacent to entry ramp at the front of the building.

Our practice takes a range of steps to assist patients with a disability including having:

  • signage that is picture based (for patients with an intellectual disability)
  • accessible pathways from the door to reception and to consultation rooms that are wide enough for patients in wheelchairs
  • a unisex wheelchair accessible toilet for patients with disabilities.
  • If physical disability prevents a patient from attending the clinic, the GP can arrange a home visit if it is urgent.
    • Our practice is familiar with the Federal Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and legislation regarding the right to access general practices.

    WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
    Our practice provides wheelchair access to reception, waiting areas, consultation and examination areas and toilets via open plan access to all areas.

    CAR PARKING
  • Our practice provides adequate car parking facilities within a reasonable distance from our practice for patients.
  • The car park is fully sealed at the back of the clinic and at the both sides of the clinic adjacent to the building.
  • Our car park is accessible through two driveways at the both sides of the clinic building.
  • The “Disabled Car Park” spot is located at the left side of the building and is adjacent to the entry ramp for easy wheelchair access.
  • Our clinic also has 2 parking slots for bicycles at the front of the building.
